Roses sire is the legandary Sleight of Hand.  Sleight of Hand was Supreme Champion Pony at the American Welsh Pony Show in 1988 and 1991-1993.  On the USEF leading pony hunter sire list.

His dam's sire is Pendock Masterpiece (1983 Supreme Champion Pony at the National Welsh Pony Show) .
