Windhover Welsh Ponies

We  breed of Section "B" welsh ponies.  Our goal is to produce only not only top class athletes but to also provide ponies that will be safe children's companions.    

We specialize in not only breeding but also in the breaking and training of quality ponies. 

Our Business

We offer breaking, training and lessons.  All of our ponies are given a solid foundation from day one.  We build upon traditional dressage basics with a natural horsemanship influence. and provide a strong foundation of work over low fences.

 Our lesson program is designed not only to produce sound riding basics but also to allow our students to find joy in riding even if they never plan to enter the show ring. 

Who We Are

We are a family owned operation.  Sara Greiling teaches our lessons.  She has been riding since she was a child and has had a wide education in many riding disciplines.  She has traveled from Europe to Australia riding on equestrain teams.

Cassie Greiling starts each of our ponies from groundwork up.  With ten years experience in starting horses and ponies, she exposes each one to a variety of experiences in the ring and on the trail.  .

April Johnson is our farm manager. April has over 20 years horse experience and provides kind, consistent care of each  one of Windhover's ponies. She is essential at Winhover and helps in  producing ponies that are sensible and easy to handle.
